Mat Riddle's
1992 Ford Explorer

Who knew a stump could be used for an RTI? Going through a patch of plants that I later found out sratched the hell out of my doors.
Speeding through a mud puddle.
Even faster though a mud puddle…So much so that the spray was twice as tall as my truck

4.0L V6 w/KKM Open Air Intake, Flowmaster 2.25", and a JET 180 degree thermostat

Lift
2" Performance Accessories body lift & a 2.5" James Duff Suspension Lift in 2 weeks

Wheels and Tires
32x11.5" BF Goodrich Tires
15x8.5" Eagle Polished Aluminum Wheels

Audio
A Kenwood fold down face CD player, Stock JBL Speakers in each door powered by a 60W 4Ch Amp, a stock 8" JBL Woofer powered by a 85W 1Ch Amp, and lastly a 12" Kicker Competition Woofer in a box I made, powered by a Majestic 300W Amp

Misc:
Carbon Fiber Windshield Wipers and Racing Pedals, Chrome Tow Hooks, Running Boards, Mud Flaps, Wool Seat covers and Seatbelt Pads, and the stock Tow Package which includes a trailer hitch, transmission cooler, and 3.73 gearing.
New Spark Wires, Some Aux. Lights, Headers, a CB, some engine work for performance and lower gearing.

I bought this 1992 Explorer XLT from my parents in December of 98’. My mom had used it as a daily driver and the thing had never even touched the mud. I waited all of two weeks before lifting it, putting on bigger tires, and wheels. Now, I have also managed to get some more horsepower out of it, but my truck is far from done. Explorers are solid trucks that can handle everything. It’s great being able to bog through the mud here in Washington, though I have a few scratches that show I’ve use my truck. I’m constantly trying to learn more about trucks and have fun with them, so if you’re interested in exchanging info or just checking out a cool website go to www.matnchad.com.
