| My Explorer is an Eddie Bauer edition. It has the 4.0 V-6. After purchasing
it, I immediately went to work on it. I had a 6 inch Superlift suspension
kit installed which allowed me to clear the 33x14.50 Mickey Thompson's
on 15x10 inch Eagle Alloys. It has a Smittybilt Outland brushguard equipped
with two KC Daylighters. I added GTS blackouts at all four corners.
I installed a Flowmaster exhaust system for added horsepower.
It also contains a monstrous sound system consisting of numerous Eclipse
and Bose components.
The windows were tinted with Johnson HNC mirror tint for that limo look.
Future plans include a custom 4 inch body lift and 36 inch boggers on
15x12 inch wheels, after some engine upgrades, of course. I also plan to
add Smittybilt step bars, Outland taillight guards, and a light bar equipped
with 4 more KC Daylighters. |
